Supterstar sprinter BEL SPRINTER put Jason Warren Racing on the map after a devestating win in the 2013 Group 1 Galaxy Stakes where he beat an oustanding field of Australia's finest sprinters.
He went onto run 3rd to Black Caviar in the G1 TJ Smith Stakes before representing Australia in Singapore where he ran a gallant second to champion Hong Kong Sprinter Lucky Nine.
We have been lucky to train some fantastic horses as set out below.
Bel Sprinter ended his career as a Group 1 winner and million dollar earner. In a career spanning 30 starts, he won 8 times and left us with some unforgettable memories. For the full story on Bel, please refer to the "Bel Sprinter Story" on the website.
Purchased for $90,000 by Jason at the New Zealand Ready to Run Sale, Puritan burst onto the scene winning his debut at Pakenham in devastating style. He ran 4th in the Group 2 Danehill Stakes at his second start before winning the Group 3 Manfred Stakes at Caulfield at his third career start.
Tragically, Puritan's career was cut short when he fractured a knee in a jumpout. It was a devastating blow to lose such a talented horse in the prime of his life. His barnstorming win in the Manfred Sks will long be remembered.

THE BARRISTER was purchased by JWR at the 2014 Inglis Easter Sale for $110,000. He was by first season sire STAR WITNESS and was a relatively cheap buy with the average at that sale being well over $250,000.
After an inglorious start to his career with an unplaced debut at Moonee Valley on Cox Plate Day, The Barrister returned for the Autumn a more mature colt. He lead and won the Mornington Guineas before heading to Sydney where he won the Listed FERNHILL STAKES with Hugh Bowman on board. He backed up the following week in the G1 Champagne Stakes and ran a brave 5th after setting a hot early tempo.
The Barrister was subsequently sold to Hong Kong where he now races as High Volatility.
