She had big wraps on her and Tarcoola Spirit delivered the goods!

A fantastic start to her career and she should only improve with a run under her belt.

"She has always shown very good ability at home so it was good to see her get the job done today" said Warren.

"She was only 80% fit and has only had one jumpout and an easy trial so she was always going to be vulnerable today. To her credit, she found a couple of lengths when jockey Craig Robertson showed her the stick".

"We will see how she pulls up over the next week and if she pleases us, she will head to a Listed Race at Flemington on 4 March over 1000m. If she shows us any signs that she needs a break, she will go to the paddock and come back a serious filly in the spring".

Congratulations  to Ken Williams and Ken Biggins who bred Tarcoola Spirit having raced her mother, Vivacious Spirit who was a Group 3 winner.
