Stunning filly SEQUOIA LADY heads to Caulfield tomorrow ready to take on a strong field of fillies.

The daughter of REDWOOD couldn't have been any more impressive winning her last start in good time stamping herself as an exciting staying filly going forward.

"Had she drawn a gate, I would have been really confident. Unfortunately, she has drawn off the track which is going to make her task very hard. We will ride her back in the field and see if she can rip home late" said Jason Warren

"She is stepping up in class and has drawn the car park so we are being realistic about her chances tomorrow. We will certainly find out where she sits in the scheme of things after tomorrow's race".

"I have kept her on the fresh side since her last start. She is staying at the 1600m so she needs to keep some freshness and sprint in her legs".

Sequoia Lady's pedigree is full of staying blood. Redwood was a G1 winner over 2400m in Canada whilst her mother (Dance Partner) was a city winner over 1800m and a half sister to Celestial Show who was a very handy WA mare that won a Bunbury Cup and ran second in a WA Oaks.

MACQUARIE MAGIC has been a solid performer for the stable over the years and resumes tonight at Cranbourne. He generally takes a run to reach his peak and the 1200m is a touch short for him so look for him second and third up.

He is the hottest first season sire in the country. YOUR SONG landed another winner on Wednesday at Warwick Farm further reminding everyone what a good young talent he is. Your Song has had 7 winners from 18 runners..not bad for a first year stallion taking on the likes of Snitzel, Not A Single Doubt.

For those shrewd owners looking for a slice of some Your Song flesh, look no further than our sharp looking Your Song filly who we purchased for $50k. She is due to start her breaking in later in the month. She is a strongly built filly and looks an early 2yo runner.

Our first breakers are underway with our stunning I am Invincible colt leading the charge. "He is a lovely colt. Very smart and intelligent and is taking to the breaking in very easily".

Our yearlings will be filtering through the stables over the coming months learning the ropes and developing (we hope) into first class racehorses! We will keep everyone posted on their progress.
