It's a big day of racing in Victoria this weekend with Finals Day at Flemington tomorrow and the Grand National meeting at Warrnambool on Sunday.

We have had a frustrating run with 8 placings in the last two weeks so we are well overdue for a win! We have some nice chances over the weekend and the team is quietly confident we can land a winner or two!

VIOLENT SNOW was outstanding last start rocketing home for a narrow second and goes into tomorrow's Rivette Series Final in tip top order. She has been a victim of wide barriers all preparation but has finally drawn an inside gate. She has an exceptional turn of foot when ridden quietly with cover which she will get on Saturday.

SANG CHOI BAO is one of those enigmatic horses that certainly teases his owners and supporters! Whilst the listed Creswick Stakes has been his target all preparation, we have been forced to make a few detours along the way but he looks back on track after a slashing run at Pakenham last start. Tomorrow is a big jump in class but he isn't the worst chance at big odds!

We have two terrific chances at the Bool on Sunday. LONGCHAMP BELLE (pictured below) is building up to a win after two solid runs. She loves heavy ground and will take some catching on Sunday.

MACSONSILIA (pictured below) is a relatively new addition to the stable and does all his work on the treadmill and only sees a track on raceday. The treadmill is a fantastic training aid especially for these horses with soundness issues like Macsonsilia who has had fetlock issues throughout his career.

He had his first run for JWR a couple of weeks ago running a good second at Moe. He needed the run that day and strips much fitter for his run on Sunday. He is another mudlark so the wetter the better!
