Two year old filly AIRLIE MAGIC makes her debut at today's metropolitan meeting at Ballarat.

The daughter of Magic Albert was a relatively cheap buy at the 2014 Inglis Classic Yearling Sale where she was knocked down to JWR for $24,000 (see yearling picture below). She was out of a good performing Zoffany who won $224k on the track including the Group 3 Epona Stakes in Sydney over 1900m.

She has had two solid trials going into today's race and we are expecting her to be ultra competitive. She was going to run last week on the Pakenham polytrack against Sister Close (2nd) and Parallel Lines (3rd) but the decision was made to save her for a wet track at Ballarat today. She loves the soft ground and finds herself on a Soft 6 surface today.

She has drawn beautifully so she should give a great sight up on the speed.

Good luck.
