LOOTA BACK FOR A BIG WINTER CAMPAIGN

May 28, 2015

LOOTA RETURNS FROM SPELL

Stable favourite LOOT N RUN returns from a spell at Sale today in Heat 2 of the Winter Championships.

The winner of 7 races and over $250k in prize money, Loot N Run has been a fantastic horse for his owners. He did plenty  of racing in 2013 and 2014 so we gave him a good spell over the summer which he really needed. He has come back in great order and looks set for a big winter campaign.

He is not 100% wound up for today's race but I wouldn't be surprised to see him sneak into the placings. He will certainly be better later on in the preparation.

BEARISH STRIPS FITTER SECOND UP

BEARISH was big in condition when she raced first up during the Warrnambool carnival. She got back on the wet track and didn't make much impression in the straight. However, she has trained on nicely and should be much more competitive today with the blinkers on. She is another who could figure in the placings at good odds.

THREE POINTS KNOCKING ON THE DOOR

THREE POINTS has been in the money in 3 of his past last 5 starts and is certainly knocking on the door for a win. He drops from BM70 grade back to a BM64 race today so certainly gets his chance to break through for a win.

His run at Bendigo two starts ago was terrific when narrowly beaten by Ungrateful Ellen who runs in the Qld Oaks on Saturday. If he runs up to that race, he should be hard to beat.
