It's going to be a big hour at the Valley tonight with JWR saddling up debutant PARALLEL LINES in Race 1 followed by improving 3yo MAGNORMOUS in Race 2.

Mossman 2yo filly PARALLEL LINES (pictured) was an $80,000 purchase at last years Magic Millions Sale and has been a sensational looking filly from Day 1. She has always shown plenty of natural ability and will develop into a lovely filly once she gets out to 1200m. Tonight's race might be a faction short for her but look for her to be running home late.

Magnus gelding MAGNORMOUS is another youngster with good ability. We raced his brother (Magnaro) who was a terrific Valley horse so we are hoping his little brother goes just around around the tight circuit.  He had excuses at Yarra Valley on debut when ridden aggressively from the wide gate. He will be ridden behind the speed tonight and we have made a couple of gear changes which should improve him.

LETTER FROM PARIS (pictured below) was sensational at Mornington last start winning in fine style. She comes up against some very good fillies tomorrow but isn't without some claims. She is a true little professional and will give plenty of cheek. If she can run a place, it will be huge result for a lightly raced filly in her first preparation.

We have another talented Magnus gelding going around on Sunday with the lightly raced ROCK SPUR looking for his first win. He was super on debut before running another strong race at Sandown when he was posted wide with no cover. He only needs to hold his form to be winning on Sunday.

BELLE QUE is a hard mare to catch but when she runs well she seems to win! She has been to the water walker since her last start and has been kept very fresh for Sunday's race. If she brings her A game, she is well up to winning this.

Named after playboy porn star Hugh Hefner, 4yo Not A Single Doubt gelding HEFNER finally lived up to his name with an easy 4L win at Ballarat on Wednesday. Originally trained by Peter Moody, Hefner arrived at our stable last year and has gone from strength to strength this preparation. He doesn't need much training and spends plenty of time at the beach which he has really thrived on. Some horses appreciate the country air and relaxed atmosphere here at Denistoun Park and Hefner is certainly one of them.

Purchased by Sheamus Mills Bloodstock for $63,000, the lightly raced 4yo is finally starting to fulfil his promise and can hopefully string together some more wins. Congratulations to all his owners and especially the boys in the "Lads Racing Syndicate" and Pete Chapman who were at the "Rat" on Wednesday to enjoy the win.
