Three year old filly Letter From Paris put the writing on the wall with an excellent debut before backing up that performance with a strong win at Mornington on Friday 16 January in the Hockingstuart Plate (1200 METRES).

By former shuttle sire US Ranger, Letter from Paris was bred by Melbourne barrister and horse breeding enthusiast Susan Zeitz who owns a small band of broodmares.

"It was a fantastic result for Susan who is a very passionate breeder. She has sent us a number of young horses and Letter From Paris is our first runner together so it's a terrific start to our relationship" explained Warren.

"She is a nice type of filly and is the ultimate professional. She jumps well, sits on the speed and gives a good kick. She has a good future".

US Ranger is a little known stallion in Australia having shuttled here for one year and only leaving 35 live foals. From his first 11 runners, he has now had 3 winners including stakes winner Get The Nod who won the Vain Stakes last spring.

Letter from Paris will now step up to the big time with a race at Moonee Valley on 30 January next on her agenda.
